【Socket style】

Multi-function socket: The most common is the five-hole socket. With the development of the times, most of the multi-function sockets now not only have two holes and three holes, but also have their own USB interface, which is very convenient for mobile phone charging; 

New sockets: In recent years, many families have seen a variety of convenient, practical and high-value new socket products.

For example, one-piece rail sockets are common in kitchens, desks and other places where home appliances need to be moved back and forth, which is convenient and practical;

Socket installation location rules

1. Generally, the lower edge of the socket should be 0.3 meters away from the ground, and it should not be installed at the same height with a difference of 5mm;

2. On each wall in the bedroom and living room, the distance between two sockets should not exceed 2.5 meters, and within 0.6 meters of the corner, at least one spare socket should be installed;

3. The washing machine socket is between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters from the ground. It is best to choose a three-level socket with a switch:

4. The refrigerator socket is 0.3~1.5 meters away from the ground (depending on the location of the refrigerator), and a single three-level socket should be selected;

The split type and wall-mounted air conditioner sockets should be set 1.8 meters away from the ground according to the position of the reserved hole for the outlet pipe, the window type air conditioner socket can be set at 1.4 meters away from the ground next to the window, and the cabinet type air conditioner socket should be located 0.3 meters away from the ground at the corresponding position. set at meter;

Switch socket installation precautions

1) To install the dual-control switch, plan ahead

For example, in bedrooms, corridors, large living rooms, etc., it is very convenient to install dual-control switches. It is a happy thing to not have to get up and turn off the lights in the winter!

2) Wet area switch sockets need to have splash-proof covers

The socket should not be too close to the water, such as the socket in the kitchen, bathroom, balcony laundry room, etc., need a special splash-proof socket or a waterproof box. Bathtubs, faucets and stoves cannot be installed, nor can they be installed 20cm around the gas meter;

3) Some sockets need switch protection

For some switches that children can touch, try to make a socket switch, and turn off the switch when not in use to prevent children from playing or the elderly accidentally getting electric shock;

4) High-power electrical appliances should use independent sockets

It is best to use separate sockets for high-power electrical appliances such as air conditioners, washing machines, and range hoods. For seasonal electrical appliances, such as air conditioners, you can choose a socket with a switch. When not in use, turn the switch on instead of unplugging.
